The Most Anticipated Hip-Hop Albums of 2012

So we’re 5 days into 2012, the new years resolutions are out, the gym memberships have been acquired and it’s about time we knuckled down with important issues like, which hip-hop albums are we most anticipating this year. Well, the good folks at CraveOnline have compiled a list of some of the most eagerly awaited albums that are set to drop in 2012, these include:

Tyler, the Creator – Wolf

G.O.O.D Music – G.O.O.D Music

T.I. – Trouble Man

Rick Ross – God Forgives, I Don’t

B.O.B – Strange Clouds

Watch The Throne P.II

Along with new offerings from some of the biggest names in the game such as Nicki Minaj, Clipse, Frank Ocean, Big Sean, Slaughterhouse, Black Star, Yelawolf & Outkast. I’d like to include whatever A$AP Rocky, Macklemore, The Weeknd, ScHoolboy Q & Machine Gun Kelly decide to release in 2k12. And there’s a whole host of enigmatic mixtapes set to drop, including Raekwon‘s Unexpected Victory tape which went viral a couple of days ago, which you can cop here. We should get a piece of Kid Cudi‘s side project with Dot da Dot Genius, when W Z R D comes out in late January. And there doesn’t seem to be any murmurings online surrounding the new Wu-Tang record, Dre’s Detox or a release date for a DoomStarks album. Either way, 2012 looks on track to be a heavy hitter and as ‘g.o.o.d’ as the G.O.O.D album looks and has hyped as I am for ‘Wolf’, I love me some Wu. If what you say is true, the Shaolin and the WuTang could be dangerous.

Happy new year.

P.S. Make sure y’all check out Black Star’s recent performance of ‘You Already Knew’ on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon:
